The RAGELIFE LP, creates a hybrid of Midwest Hip Hop with emcee's P/1 (Minneapolis) and OYE! (Milwaukee) and DJ *hitmayng (Milwaukee). The RAGELIFE LP fuses Hip Hop, EDM, TRAP, funk and soul, compacted with crisp and slick and poetic rhyme schemes, cut and laced into a bottle-rocket of a soundtrack for any party. The project depicts the lives of three minority scholarship students at the University of Wisconsin, a top party school, trying to find a balance between academics, socializing in an unfamiliar environment, exploring their artistic craft, as well as, "Raging". Even more difficult for these aspiring artists is tip toeing the fine line of overcoming the unsettling survivors guilt of being amongst the few to go to school through a scholarship. So what is RAGELIFE? It’s the intersection of hard work, constant energy, all while having the time of your life. Always living in the moment. The project takes the listener through the fantasies of stardom while dealing with the stark realities of the pursuit of education and happiness in this wonderland of sound and RAGE.
